The North and East Neighborhood Council meets every fourth Wednesday of the month, except November and December, at 7:00 pm in person and via Zoom. Meet your neighbors, learn about upcoming events, and find ways to help your community. All are welcome! More information here.

North and East Neighborhood Council is organizing a semi-regular trash pickup in our neighborhood and nearby areas. Please complete this Google Form if you are interested and we will contact you as plans develop!

Exciting North and East events are being planned for 2025!
We’re going to have fun and informative events throughout the year. Here’s a few highlights so you can mark your calendars and plan to attend and/or get involved in planning and putting them on.
A topic on many people’s minds is disaster preparedness, given the recent events in LA and back east with the fires and hurricanes, tornadoes, etc.
Saturday, April 26th will be our first North and East Emergency Preparedness Expo 2025, 11 AM to 2 PM, at Burg Park, 30th and Clinton with demonstrations and exhibits to help you get ready. There will be free lunch for a limited number of attendees. A raffle for emergency preparedness kits will be held. Please come and get ready for whatever happens.
ART in the PARK is coming to Burg Park on Saturday, June 21st from 11 AM til 3 PM with artists’ booths, live music, art activities and food and drink! Join us for a great day to meet your neighbors and enjoy our neighborhood.
August 5th is National Night Out [always the first Tuesday in August] and we will be celebrating in a park near you! Stay tuned for more information as the date approaches. It’s a potluck with BBQ hot dogs to supplement the delicious dishes that appear. Pull out your best recipe and plan to join us for a delightful mid-week respite from the ordinary!
And to top it off, our THIRTY FIRST ANNUAL PICNIC will be held in Burg Park on Saturday, September 13th, It will be an expanded day [11 AM to 5 PM] of live music, KIDZ-ZONE, and plenty of chances to reconnect with your neighbors or make new friends.
