Crime Prevention

The Richmond Crime Prevention Program (RCPP) meets every month to address resident concerns, distribute crime prevention information, and host speakers on public safety topics.  Attendees include block captains from various neighborhood watches, neighborhood council reps, and officers from the Richmond Police Department.  The RCPP is also a great starting point for forming your own Neighborhood Watch.

Our North and East Council representative at the RCPP meeting brings information on safety tips and criminal trends back to our council meetings.  If you have a problem in your area that you feel should be addressed by this group, if you’d like to start a Neighborhood Watch, or you’d like to attend the meeting yourself, please contact our RCPP representative.
